Jennifer Allen of Waukesha and Christopher Schwartz of Milwaukee are planning a July 16, 2011, wedding in Milwaukee.

Parents of the couple are the late James Allen, Jacqueline Sanders-Allen of Fredericktown, Ohio, and Carl and Barbara Schwartz of Fox Point.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Fredericktown High School and DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind., and she earned her law degree from Marquette University. She is an attorney with Alan C. Olson & Associates in New Berlin. She is also active in Milwaukee community theater.

The future groom is a graduate of Whitefish Bay High School and Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa, and he earned his master's degree from Cardinal Stritch University. He is a special education teacher at Zablocki School in Milwaukee.
